KHAR (Bajaur Agency), July 7: The political authorities deported six Afghan refugee families to their country on Thursday, officials said. Those deported belong to the families of 25 refugees arrested on the charge of indulging into terrorist activities during a raid by Bajaur Scouts and Levy Force on a refugee camp in the Mamond area on Tuesday night. Weapons were also seized in the raid.

An official said that the deported families were handed over to the Afghan authorities at Ghakhi Pass check-post at the Pakistan-Afghan border.
