LAHORE: An anti-corruption court on Friday confirmed pre-arrest interim bail of PML-N MNA Malik Afzal Khokhar, his two brothers MPA Saiful Malook Khokhar and Shafi Khokhar in a case related to unlawful construction of their house —“Khokhar Palace” in Jauhar Town.

The prosecution alleged that the Khokhar brothers had constructed their house without getting its map approved by the Lahore Development Authority.

The court confirmed the interim bail already granted to the Khokhars and sought a report from the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) about cases registered against individuals on similar violations.

The ACE had registered the case against the Khokhars on the direction of then chief justice Mian Saqib Nisar who had taken suo motu notice against them on complaints moved by a number of individuals.
