LAHORE: The internationally acclaimed filmmaker Jamil Dehlavi’s award-winning film Jinnah will be screened at the Institute for Art and Culture (IAC), Raiwind Road, on March 4.

The press release said the film on the life of Quad-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah featured Hollywood star Christopher Lee, Bollywood legend Shashi Kapoor, British actor James Fox and Pakistani actors, Shakeel, Talat Hussain and Vaneeza Ahmad.

The film has won a number of international awards, including Golden World Film Award in Jakarta, Gold Award at WorldFest Flagstaff Festival, Zanzibar International Film Festival’s Golden Dhow Award and Cairo International’s Golden Pyramid Award.

The screening will also be the inauguration of IAC’s Film Club and coincides with a short film workshop to be mentored by Jamil Dehlavi at the IAC from March 4 to 10. The workshop will be attended by promising young film makers and IAC film students.
