LECTURE

To mark the 150th death anniversary of Mirza Asadullah Khan Ghalib, a Baba-i-Urdu Molvi Abdul Haq extension lecture titled Bayad-i-Ghalib under the auspices of Anjuman Taraqqi-i-Urdu at Urdu Bagh, Gulistan-i-Jauhar, at 10.30am.

OPEN DAY

An open day of the Pioneer art residency volume III, organised by the Canvas gallery and Pioneer Cement artists in residence Ayaz Jokhio, Faisal Anwar, Humayun Memon, Masooma Syed, Mohammad Ali Talpur, Muzammil Ruheel and Quddus Mirza, at the Canvas gallery at 12 noon.

EXHIBITIONS

A solo exhibition of paintings by Ramzan Jafri opens at the Chawkandi art gallery at 5.30pm. The show titled Depiction of loss will remain open till Feb 21.

A group show of works by four leading artists opens at the Artscene gallery at 6pm. The participants are Hafsa Shaikh, Imrana Shujah, Maham Siddiqui and Zarmena Aslam. The show titled Personal conscience will remain open till Feb 22.

CONDOLENCE REFERENCE

A condolence reference for TV and film actor Gulab Chandio at the Arts Council at 6pm.
