KHAR: Hundreds of people on Wednesday held a protest demonstration against the killing of three labourers belonging to Bajaur tribal district in Larkana district of Sindh by unknown armed men on Wednesday morning.

The three labourers who belonged to Utmankhel area were killed when unknown armed men opened fire at a rickshaw in Larkana city.

Political and social activists, traders, students and elders attended the demonstration organised by Bajaur Youth Jirga.

Holding placards and banners inscribed with immediate arrest of the killers, the protesters started marching from different areas of the district and gathered at the main Khar Bazaar where the rally turned into a big gathering.

The protesters said the killing of labourers who had been living in Larkana city for last several years had anguished the whole population of Bajaur.

On the occasion, Khar traders’ association president Khan Bahadar, ANP leader Nisar Khan, JI’s Maulana Sanaullah, Bajaur Youth Jirga leaders Javid Rahman, Sadiq Akbar and Fazal Subhan expressed concern over the killing of labourers.

They slammed the Sindh government and the Larkana administration for not giving protection to the poor labourers.
