ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court Justice Athar Minallah has ordered verification of academic degrees of all employees of the court including officers.

According to a circular issued from the office of registrar IHC, all the officers and other employees of the court have been directed to get their educational certificates and degrees verified.

All the employees have been told to submit their educational certificates and degrees with the court’s administration branch within ten days, failing which a strict action would be taken against them.

The order comes as a nightmare for some as according to sources the decision for verification of degrees has been taken on suspicion that several employees were possessing fake degrees.

The sources said those found to be holding fake degrees would not only lose their jobs, but also face legal consequences.
