LAHORE: A meeting was held on Thursday to review security arrangements at the Alhamra Art Centre, The Mall.

Lahore Arts Council Executive Director Ather Ali Khan chaired the meeting and directed the officials concerned that the best security arrangements should be made at the art centre on The Mall as well as Alhamra Cultural Complex, Gadhafi Stadium.

Mr Khan said security heads should adopt every possible step to ensure people’s safety and foolproof security arrangements should be ensured for all the events at both the complexes. The security heads should efficiently perform their duties and all related officers should remain in the office during all the big events, he added.

The meeting was attended by Art and Culture Director Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi, Deputy Director Admin Aftab Ansari, security in-charge Ajmal Zubair and other staff.
