KARACHI: Multina­­tional companies in the country contributed over Rs20 billion towards Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) during the last 12 months, a report Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI) said.

Sharing details, the chamber’s president Ifran Wahab Khan said the recently launched OICCI CSR Report 2018 highlights financial and non-financial contribution of its member towards social responsibility.

He further said that OICCI members’ contribution towards CSR reached out to over 60 million direct beneficiaries throughout the country by a direct investment of Rs6bn in financial terms and of 1.2 million of human hours.
