PESHAWAR: The Bank of Khyber on Friday opened a daycare centre for its employees at its headquarters here.

A statement issued here said the bank was the first financial institution in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to have opened a daycare centre for the children of its employees.

Managing director Saiful Islam, who opened the centre, highlighted on the occasion the needs of modern working men and women. He renewed his commitment towards providing best available facilities to the bank employees. He stated that opening a child care facility on the premises the bank’s headquarters would relive the parents from the strain of juggling between work and family. He said the centre would provide supervision and care for infants and young children during the office hours, ensuring that parents focused better on their work.
