K-pop fans take pictures on plane and get off

Fans can go to any lengths to get close to their idols as some K-pop fans recently did on in Hong Kong.

The three fans of K-pop band boarded a Seoul-bound Korean Air flight in Hong Kong, ignored flight attendants’ requests to be seated and instead took pictures of the 11-member band. They then demanded to get off before it departed and got refunds on their tickets.

The fans, in their 20s, got refunds on their tickets, excluding some penalties, but the rest of the 360 passengers had to disembark and go through security screening again, delaying the flight by almost an hour, the company said in a statement.

Korean Air Lines Co. Ltd. has now raised refund penalties after this to discourage such incidents in the future.

To the Movies.

To our knowledge, none of the scripts for those other animated films have been made available online.

Don Lusk dies at 105

The animation community was saddened by the death of long-time Disney and Hanna Barbera animator and director Don Lusk recently at age 105 in San Clemente, Calif.

Lusk joined the Walt Disney Company at age 20, working on Mickey Mouse shorts for several years. He then went on to work on Disney classics such as Bambi, Pinocchio, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, Sleeping Beauty and One Hundred and One Dalmatians.

Among his many credits as an animator are Gay Purr-ee (1962), Hey There, It’s Yogi Bear (1964) The Secret SquirrelShow (1965), The Man Called Flintstone (1966), The Atom Ant Show (1966), The New Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1968), A Boy Named Charlie Brown (1969), The Adventures of Gummi Bears (1990), Captain Planet and the Planeteers (1993) and Mickey’s House of Villains (2001).
