Two shot dead in Okara

OKARA, June 28: Two men were shot dead while another sustained injuries in separate incidents in the district on Tuesday. Reports said Khyber Military Farms employee Saleem, son of Lal Khan, a resident of Silanwali tehsil in Sargodha district was sleeping in the house of his neighbour Rizwan when some unidentified men shot him dead.

Cantt police have registered the case on the report of the deceased’s father.

In the other incident, in 26/1-AL village, one Muhammad Hasan Baloch admonished a proclaimed offender, Gulshan alias Gochhi and his goons over their unlawful activities.

This annoyed Gulshan, who, along with his accomplices Mansha Baloch, Akbar alias Kado, Mulazam alias Mayo, Saleem alias Jagga and three other unidentified men, entered the house of Hasan who was sleeping in the courtyard along with his son Safdar Hussain.

The outlaws took hostage Hasan’s wife and his daughter-in-law, who were sleeping in a room and opened fire on the two sleeping men. As a result, Hasan died on the spot, while his son Safdar got seriously injured who was shifted to a hospital.

Renala Khurd police have registered the case.
