PCS exams

Published January 5, 2019

PROVINCIAL Civil Service (PCS) is one of the most prestigious examinations held in Sindh. The selection process includes the screening of all candidates before written examinations and interviews.

For PCS 2019, screening was held on Dec 9, 2018, all over Sindh simultaneously, but there were some issues which should be resolved by the authorities concerned.

Arrangements during the screening at test centres in Karachi were not satisfactory. Students did not even have a table and write comfortably. In fact, they were given a chair full of dust in a tent.

One person was shouting continuously on a megaphone again and again before the test.

It is advisable to conduct these tests in a disciplined way. The venue can be Expo Centre or the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, which can be easily managed by the recruitment body.
