KARACHI, June 27: Sindh Women Development Minister Dr Saeeda Malik has called upon the government employees to keep themselves abreast of developments taking place at the global level so as to be able to meet contemporary challenges with courage and confidence. She was speaking at the concluding ceremony of a specialized training programme organized by the National Institute of Public Administration for provincial section officers. Appreciating that the syllabi or training had covered the important aspects of national awareness, management, effective presentation and communication skill proficiency in information technology, the minister expressed hope that it would improve the performance of course participants and create atmosphere for effective service delivery.

“It is of great pleasure to know that the young section officers also took initiative to organize seminars, during the training programme, on important issues like World Trade Organization and its impact on Pakistan’s economy besides country’s housing policy,” she commented.

The minister also appreciated Sindh government for realizing importance of training for its officers. She was confident that this would contribute towards ensuring good governance.

Later, certificates were distributed among the course participants. —APP
