KARACHI: The anti-encroachment staff of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation on Monday removed all illegal constructions from footpaths in several parts of the city on the 36th day of the ongoing campaign.

Officials said that all encroachments on footpaths and pavements at Sohrab Goth and Gohar Plaza were removed.

Besides, they said, encroachments were also removed from a storm-water drain in Baldia Town.

The officials said that the operation against encroachments was in progress smoothly as no resistance was seen at Al Asif Square in Sohrab Goth area where hundreds of illegal constructions were removed and the action was completed peacefully.

They said that action against encroachments on both sides of Sohrab Goth would continue on Tuesday.

The assistant commissioners concerned were also present during the operation.

The KMC Encroachments cell must also remove all encroachments from both side of Sohrab Goth till Vegetable and Fruit market in Scheme 33 'Gulzar E Hijri Karachi of different Cooperative Housing Societies and illegally occupied by Qabza mafia in collusion with Revenue Department and police of the concerned area.

Who are people that have encdone encroachment?Some people in Sohrab Got are illegally occupied the building of genine owner. Please do something for them.

All encroachments in Karachi must be demolished without "Why" and "But". Karachi, one of the populous cities of the world must become beautiful and honourable.
