MUZAFFARGARH: A man allegedly killed his wife and three daughters in the name of honour at Alipur tehsil’s Mauza Baghwala Jhallan, about 120 kilometres away from the city, on Saturday morning.

Police said Muhammad Afzal woke up early in the morning and killed his wife using sharp-edged weapon over suspicion about her activities.

He also killed his daughters -- Taskeen Bibi, 5, Misbah Bibi, 3, and one-year-old Guria, they said.

Neighbours informed police about the incident and a team led by District Police Officer Imran Kishwar reached the spot. The DPO ordered immediate arrest of the suspect and police registered a case against him.

The Seetpur SHO said police would investigate the case from all angles. Police sent the bodies for postmortem.
