ATTOCK: Additional District and Sessions Judge Raja Jahanzaib Akhter sentenced a man to death for sexually assaulting and killing a teenage boy.

According to the case detail, in June 2017, Mohammad Firdous kidnapped 16-year-old Mohammad Hassan from Ghorghasti in the Hazro police limits, assaulted and then killed him. He later dumped the body in the Ghazi Barotha lake.

When the body was recovered, the police started an investigation and arrested Firdous.

During the remand, Firdous told the police that he had sexually assaulted over 100 children. He also made videos of some of his crimes and save them in his computer. The computer was sent to the forensics laboratory in Lahore and its report was presented to the court with the challan.

After hearing to the witnesses and on the basis of the forensics report and videos, the judge sentenced the man to death and fined him Rs0.5 million. The convict is languishing in the district jail Attock.
