Danish, Raza lead Pakistan CC to massive win

KARACHI: Danish Aziz and Raza-ul-Hasan produced sterling performances while guiding holders Pakistan CC to a huge 291-run defeat of Sun CC in the latest KCCA Zone-VI fixture of the PCB Fazal Mahmood National Club Cricket Championship at the TMC Ground here on Friday.

The talented left-handed Danish bludgeoned a quickfire 158 with his 84-ball containing 19 fours and sixes as Pakistan CC amassed 375-6 in their 50 overs. He put on 167 for the second wicket with Babar Hussain Agha (68, six fours and one).l Pakistan Under-19 batsman Saim Ayub hoisted five sixes and hit two fours in scoring 69.

Sun CC, in reply, had answers to the guiles of Raza as they crashed to 84 all out in the 18th over as the off-spinner claimed six wickets for only 17 runs.
