LAHORE: The 2018 Polo in Pink Tournament is set to start here at the Lahore Polo Club on Tuesday. The tournament will feature seven teams.

Pool ‘A’ features Dascon Construction Company, Artema Medical and Olympia while Pool ‘B’ comprises Remington Pharma, Qatalpur, Newage/Diamond Paints and Lahore Paradise Housing.

The inaugural match will be contested between Dascon and Artema at 1:00 pm while Remington Pharma will take on Qatalpur at 2:00 pm and Newage/Diamond Paints will vie against Lahore Paradise Housing at 3:00 pm.

Lahore Polo Club executive committee member Saqib Khan Khakwani said that the purpose of holding the tournament is to create awareness about cancer among the masses.

Saqib said that the Lahore Polo Club season has just started with more exciting and interesting matches are being played by the participants and the spectators have been enjoying high-quality polo.

“I hope, like the previous tournament, this event will also prove to be challenging one and every team has to perform extraordinarily to book berth in the finals. I am also hopeful of doing well in this event and help my team register crucial victories,” said Saqib.
