TAXILA: Asim Khan and Madina Zafar completed a grand double for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited as they respectively won the men’s and women’s titles in the National Squash Championships at the Jahangir Khan Squash Complex in Wah on Monday.
Asim had to fight hard in a marathon five-game battle to outlast Israr Ahmed 11-6, 11-6, 7-11, 10-12, 11-7.
In the women’s title-decider, Madina wrapped an easy 11-2, 11-3, 11-8 over Amina Fiaz of PIA.
