Young man found dead

TIMERGARA: Police found the dead body of a young man at a stream in Bokrai Samar Bagh area here on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Hussain, son of Laal Badshah, a resident of Berari. According to eyewitnesses, the body had marks of torture. Police said that local people informed them about the presence of the body in the stream. They said that the deceased was killed by unidentified persons after severe torture.

The motive of the crime could not be ascertained. Police registered a case and started investigation. The body was handed over to the heirs.

TRANSFORMERS: MNA Mohammad Bashir Khan has said that people would no more need to collect donation to repair the power transformers.

Talking to local people, he said that three faulty power transformers were sent to Nowshera for repair. He said that faulty transformers were repaired by Pesco and would be reinstalled in Juni Kallay Kas, Qasho Dal and Asharko Bala on Friday (today).

The MNA said that Pesco authorities were cooperating with local lawmakers. He said that in the past, people were forced to collect donations for repair of power transformers. He said that government was aware of the problems being faced by people and it would gradually resolve all the problems.
