DADU, June 18: Three labourers were killed and another was injured when a wall fell on them in the Samtani village, 20 kilometres off here, on Saturday. Those killed were identified as Imamuddin Siyal, 19, Mohammad Rajab Birhamani, 40, and Irfan Arain, 39. Mohammad Ramzan Birhamani was injured. They were digging a well when the wall collapsed on them.

The Dadu town police handed over the bodies to relatives after autopsy at a hospital in Bhan.

LOW VOLTAGE: Electronic gadgets including refrigerators, televisions and water pumps were damaged due to low voltage which hit a major part of the town on Saturday and the enraged residents of the town came out on the streets to vent their anger against the Hesco officials in front of the DCO office and the local press club.

The areas hit hard by low voltage included parts of Dadu town, Gharabad, Mazdoorabad, Soorajabad, Jagatabad, Buth Mohalla, Sonar Mohalla, Memon Mohalla, Rai Bazar, old chowk, Shahi Bazar, Akhund Mohalla, Pir Bux Colony, Chhano Shahabad and Markhpur.
