KARACHI: The Sindh Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved five schemes worth Rs9.150 billion on Monday.

The schemes for law and planning and development departments were approved in a PDWP meeting presided over by Chairman Planning and Development Board Muhammad Waseem.

Two schemes were approved for the Law Department. These include construction of residential complex for officials of High Court of Sindh at Milk Plant Site worth Rs1,197.8 m and construction of courts at District Court Building, Korangi worth Rs1,261.5m.

Three schemes approved for the Planning Department include revitalisation of research and training wing at a cost of Rs132.509m, expansion of Union Council Based Poverty Reduction Programme worth Rs6351.1m, an strengthening of planning department at a cost of Rs207.8m.
