LAHORE: Huzaifa Abdul Rehman won both the boys’ under-18 singles and doubles titles in the second Aitchison College Junior National Tennis Championship here at the Punjab Lawn Tennis Courts in Bagh-i-Jinnah here on Friday.

After thrashing Abdullah Adnan with a double bagel scoreline in the singles final, Huzaifa teamed up with Shoaib Khan to cruise to a 6-2, 6-2 triumph in the doubles final against Abdullah and Ahmed Asjad.

Shoaib also won the boys’ under-16 crown when he defeated Ahmad Kamil 6-2, 6-4.

Another double winner was Sami Zeb Khan who won the boys’ under-14 singles title with a 6-1, 6-2 humbling of Hamid Israr before teaming up with his beaten opponent to win the doubles final 6-3, 6-3 against Farman Shakeel and Uzair Khan.

Hamza Rohan clinched two titles in two different categories, winning the boys’ under-12 final 8-6 against Talha Khan and prevailing by the same score against Abu Bakar Talha in the boys’ under-10 final.

Zoha Asim lifted the girls’ under-18 singles title when she toppled Shimza Naz Tahir 6-4, 6-3 in the final.
