PTCL official handed over to RAB

QUETTA, Oct 4: The Police has handed over the ex-assistant manager of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), Khuzdar, Mutlub Hussian, to Regional Accountability Bureau after arresting him on corruption charges.

The National Accountability Bureau had issued the arrest warrants of the accused for his alleged involvement in misappropriation of public funds.

The police arrested him and produced him before the Accountability Court No

2, Quetta, headed by judge Nadir Khan Durrani on Tuesday.

The judge remanded him in RAB custody until Oct 6, on the request of investigation officer.

The RAB had already arrested another employee of PTCL Khuzdar who was also allegedly involved in the same case.

According to sources, they misappropriated millions of rupees allocated for a project of PTCL.
