KARACHI: To give relief to the ailing horses — who are down with equine flu — a small three-race

card has been drawn for the Gymkhana race meeting which takes place at the Karachi Racecourse on Saturday.

This is the second successive week that a small and mediocre three-race card has been announced by the Karachi Race Club.

Two horses — three-year-old colt Determination and unknown pedigree bay mare Jan-e-Fida — both from Lahore, will make their debut in the third race of the day.

“The health of horses is improving as the KRC and the owners are taking care through veterinary doctors,” an official of the club told Dawn.

Altogether, 20 horses will be seen in action barring last-minute withdrawal.

The first race starts at 4:00pm.
