ISLAMABAD: After becoming ACBS Asian Team Champion with former World Champion Mohammad Asif, top cueist Babar Masih returned to his home town Rawalpindi from Doha, Qatar on Sunday.

He was given warm welcome at the Islamabad International Airport by representatives of Islamabad and Rawalpindi billiards and snooker associations.

Speaking on the occasion, Babar said his hard work paid off, as for Asian Team event, he did a lot of training, which helped him to win it.

He said the IBSF World Snooker Championship, slated to be held in Myanmar next month, is his next target. Babar, Asif and Mohammad Bilal will represent Pakistan in the tournament.

Babar also won bronze medal in the Asian 6Red Snooker Championship held parallel to the ACBS Asian Snooker Championship.

Bilal, who won the first ACBS Asian Tours 10 Red Snooker Championship in also returned to his home town Mandi Bahauddin on Sunday morning.
