MJ’s Thriller voted the most inspirational album of all time

The King of Pop’s classic record, Thriller, was identified as the album to have had the biggest impact on our lives — shaping who we are and getting us through the tough times.

To date, it’s sold around 66 million copies worldwide and features some of his biggest hits — including Billie Jean, Beat It and Wanna be Startin’ Somethin.

Second spot went to The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, while third was secured by Abba and their Gold: Greatest Hits compilation. Other records in the top 40 include Definitely Maybe by Oasis, Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon and David Bowie’s Heroes.

Ed Sheeran made the top 40, thanks to his album, X, and he’s joined by the Spice Girls for their debut album, Spice, and Robbie Williams for Escapology.

Henry Cavill may be leaving Superman and the DC movies

Henry Cavill’s time in the classic Superman tights appears to have come to a close. Sources now say that, after appearances in DC movies starting with Man of Steel, Cavill is leaving Warner Bros. and clearing the path for a new future for Superman in the DCEU, though neither side has confirmed this.

Sources say that Warner Bros. and DC worked to get Henry Cavill to do a cameo in the upcoming Shazam! movie, but talks broke down over scheduling conflicts, and now the door is closing, probably for good on Cavill’s turn in the Superman suit.

It’s expected that Ben Affleck will not move forward as The Batman on screen anymore, either. This would mean a complete 180-degree spin away from the controversial Batman v. Superman, and leave Justice League as the last time either actor was seen on screen in the DC world.

Gaten Matarazzo craves for Star Wars franchise

Stranger Things actor Gaten Matarazzo wants to join the Star Wars franchise. Matarazzo, who plays Dustin Henderson on the hit Netflix sci-fi series, is a long time fan of the franchise, and he says it’s all thanks to an uncle who introduced him to the movies at a young age. “My uncle from Michigan came to visit me for a summer when I was six-year-old, and he got me obsessed with Star Wars.”

There’s no word on whether Disney has any plans on adding Matarazzo to a Star Wars film, but the company appears to be continuing with their plan to expand the Star Wars universe. So there’s always the possibility that Matarazzo will one day leave Hawkins for the deep reaches of space. For now, he’ll remain focused on season 3 of Stranger Things.
