Ambassador Sherali Jononov and his wife welcomed guests to a large reception to celebrate Tajikistan’s 27th Independence Day. The event had musicians and singers visiting from home, performing with local artists.

Ambassador Jononov and the chief guest, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, federal minister for railways, praised the good relations between Tajikistan and Pakistan.

“The large hall was packed, but that just made the event more enjoyable. Besides, Ambassador Sherali Jononov is always such a joyful host,” said a Pakistan guest.
