LAKKI MARWAT: Police arrested on Saturday a man for molesting a teenage boy belonging to Ziarat area of Balochistan.

Ghulam Mohammad, SHO Shaheed Haibat Ali Khan police station, told Dawn that the suspect, Ishaq, was arrested during a raid on his house in Pezu city. The man along with three other accomplices had assaulted the boy at a guestroom.

The boy had told police that he had come to Tank from Balochistan for work, adding two men, Ishaq and Ihsanullah, brought him to Darra Pezu town to work with them as cleaner of a truck.

He said Ishaq with three other accomplices, Naqeebullah, Israr and Shahid, kept on assaulting him for three days. The SHO said Naqeebullah and Israr had already been arrested while efforts were underway to arrest Shahid.

Also, Tajori police arrested two outlaws wanted in murder, attack on law enforcers and bank robbery cases.

An official said the action was launched when district police chief Asif Gohar received information about their presence in rural localities.

“A party headed by SHO Ayaz Khan captured Liaqat and Gul Marjan during raids in Haramatala and Kotka Faqeer Kalay areas,” he added.
