Karachi, Khairpur win Defence Day softball ties

KHAIRPUR: Karachi Academy beat Sukkur Academy by 15-7 while Khairpur overcame Larkana Academy by 11-5 in the opening matches of NSA Defence Day Women Softball Championship here on Sunday.

President Traders Association Khairpur Abdul Ghafoor was the chief guest on the occasion and declared the championship open by striking the ball.

The championship has been jointly organised by Sukkur Softball Association and NSA.
