President Hassan Rouhani says Iran routinely receives invitations from the United States for talks even as the country is pressured by the US in the form of sanctions.
Rouhani said on Saturday in a speech broadcast on state TV: “Every day they send us messages in various ways saying let's talk.”
Rouhani says Iranians will not surrender to America's “economic war” on Iran, a reference to renewed sanctions resulting from the US pulling out of the 2015 nuclear deal between Iran and Western powers in May.
Iran's rial value has been sharply falling since then.
President Donald Trump has said the US is concerned about Iran's ballistic missile program and regional influence.

Iran should talk but only in the company of other signatories because any agreement with the USA won't be worth the paper it's written.

They must understand that it's the worst kind of black-mailing that the racist, anti-Islam, bigot, pro-Israel and biased Donald Trump and his cunning, criminal and crooked cronies are involved in regarding all Muslim countries in general and the Islamic Republic of Iran in particular, in order to consolidate, reinforce and strengthen their political, financial, sociocultural and vested interests, by hook or by crook.

Iran must grab the golden opportunity and initiate talks with US. The whole region is in crisis, and instability visible. All sides and all stake holders must learn from Syria and Iraq, and try to avert collateral damage to their falling economies. The sooner you talk the better it is.
