ATTOCK, June 11: The intelligence agencies have started gathering details about an American Muslim, having relatives in Attock, and arrested by the FBI in San Francisco for allegedly running Al-Qaeda cell, sources told Dawn. The FBI arrested Hamid Hayat, 22, and four other Pakistanis in San Francisco on May 29. Hayat, born in San Joaquin County, California in 1982, had arrived Islamabad from San Francisco on April 21, 2003 and returned to the US on May 29, 2005 after his wedding. His father belongs to Attock district.
