“During Eid celebration Rangers with other law enforcement agencies will remain alert in the city to maintain law and order and ensure protection of life and property of citizens,” said a spokesman for the Rangers.

“The Rangers will take strict measures for implementation of a security plan and code of conduct for collection of hides of sacrificial animals. Rangers and police patrolling will also be increased across the province particularly at public places.”

The spokesman also appealed to the people to inform the paramilitary forces on their helpline if anyone attempted to forcibly collect hides.

Ban on hides’ collection without permission

A spokesman for the Sindh home department said that there was a complete ban on collection of hides of sacrificial animals without permission and carrying weapons during three days of Eid to maintain law and order in the province.
