KARACHI, June 8: Japan and Malaysia have confirmed their participation in the 1st Asian Junior Boxing Championship to commence from June 20 at KPT Sports Complex. Japan squad comprises of six pugilists while Malaysian team includes four boxers, who will compete in this prestigious event, which will conclude on June 25.

Malaysian team: Muhammed Salfa Samrizam Bin Abdullah (48kg), Muhyammed Rozi Bin Abdul Manap (51kg), Aamir Bin Ibrahim (57kg), Eswaran Murali (64kg), Muhammed Haroon Bin Ismail (Team Leader), Azmi Bin Muhammed Younis (Coach) and Muhammed Shamsul Bin Haji (Refree/Judge)

Japan team: Keishi Takakei (51kg), Naoto Uebayashi (54kg), Taiki Nomoto (57kg), Yasuhiro Suzuki (60kg), Yusuke Sekine (64kg), Ryo Osaka (69kg), Hirokuni Moto (Team Leader) and Maashi Honda (Coach).—PPI
