LAHORE: The semi-final lineup has been completed in the third Punjab National Squash Championship at the Punjab Squash Complex here on Thursday.

In the first quarter-final, Abbas Zeb of Wapda overcame Punjab’s Uzair Rasheed after a 54-minute struggle, winning 12-14, 7-11, 11-4, 11-9, 11-9.

Waqas Mehboob of Pakistan Air Force and Army’s Sadam-ul-Haq won their last-eight fixtures in four games.

Waqas beat Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Abbas Shaukat 9-11, 12-10, 11-6, 11-5.

Saddam needed 37 minutes to get the better Mehran Javed of Air Force, winning 9-11, 11-8, 12-10, 11-4.

The remaining quarter-final was one-sided as Kashif Asif of SNGPL beatNavy’s Faraz Mohammad 11-6, 11-4, 11-9.
