New Pakistan

Published August 15, 2018

THE foundations of a new Pakistan will be laid on Aug 18 when Imran Khan takes the reins of this country in his hands. Why was Pakistan created and what was the raison d’être of this nation has been mystified with time; nay even the realities have changed.

It is time to once again determine the ideological frontiers of our motherland and strive to emerge as a great nation. The reasons for the creation of Pakistan are part of history now. What is crucial is how to make it a great nation.

There should be only one ideology and one mission now and that is the prosperity of the people of Pakistan.

This mission can be achieved through education, equal opportunities for all, rule of law and following the principle of the greatest good of the greatest number.
