BAHAWALNAGAR: Faqirwali police claimed on Tuesday to have recovered two minor daughters of a special person abducted four months ago and arrested the suspects.

According to the police, 50-year-old main suspect gave some intoxicant to 11-year-old and 14-year-old daughters of a resident of Chak 141/6R and abducted them along with his accomplices. They took the girls to the outhouse at Chak 98/B where they held the girls hostage and continued to abuse them for months. Two days back, the younger girl called her family by phone from a house in the neighbourhood of the outhouse. The police raided the outhouse and recovered the girls. They also arrested the suspects and registered a case against them. Further investigation was underway.
