LAHORE: Islamabad and Punjab reached the semi-finals of the PFF National U-19 Women Football Championship in contrasting styles here on Tuesday.

Islamabad thrashed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 8-0 thanks to a hat-trick from Eshal Fiaz with Yushra Malik bagging a brace and Eman Fiaz, Amal Aftab and Vera Ayub adding one apiece.

Punjab overcame Sindh 3-1 on penalties after both sides played out a 1-1 draw with Maheen Gul cancelling out Maliha’s opener for the latter.
