MANSEHRA: The police claimed on Saturday to have arrested three suspects for killing a young boy after assaulting him earlier this week.

“We have arrested three gangsters, who killed a boy and dumped his body in a deserted place on the outskirts of Mansehra city,” Munir Khan, the police’s investigation officer, told reporters on Saturday.

He said on July 29 police had found body of a young boy, whose identification couldn’t be established at the time, but an investigation led to arrest of three suspects, Mohammad Kabir, Mohammad Bardi and Mohammad Faisal.

“The accused confessed to their crime,” said Mr Khan, adding the victim was an Afghan refugee and those arrested included two from Kohistan district and one Afghan.
