DACCA: The Foreign Minister, Mr Arshad Husain, said here today [Aug 1] he was looking forward to having an exchange of views with the Chinese leaders on international and regional issues.
Talking to newsmen at the Dacca Airport on arrival here this afternoon from Rawalpindi on his way to China on a weeklong visit, the Foreign Minister said that it would be his objective to see how far “we can extend collaboration on the basis of mutual benefit between Pakistan and China”.
Pakistan, Mr Arshad Hussain said, had received considerable help from China in all spheres and our collaboration in economic sphere was growing. “It will be my objective to see how far we can extend collaboration between the two countries on the basis of mutual benefit”.
He added: “I shall also acquaint myself with the development which has been achieved by the Chinese people and convey to the leaders and people of China the greetings from Pakistani people and the respect and friendship which we feel for them”.
