RAWALPINDI: Cantonment General Hospital (CGH) doctors and paramedical staff on Friday urged the chief justice of Pakistan (CJP) to take notice of the alleged discourteous behaviour of the cantonment officials and victimisation by them.

Addressing a press conference at the Rawalpindi Press Club, the doctors said the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board officials started victimising them as well as the paramedical staff after they contacted the courts to highlight the problems faced by the hospital.

Dr Nadia Ahmed, Dr Noreen Ahmed, Dr Gul Attique, Dr Fatima Ali and Dr Mohammad Hassan said the doctors and paramedical staff went to court for regularisation of their services but the RCB started action against them for taking the matter to the courts.

They said all cantonment hospitals were giving health allowance to their staff as well as other facilities but the RCB did not pay their due rights.
