ELECTIONEERING is at its peak. Corner meetings and public rallies are happening all over the country. But unfortunately, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has failed follow up on whether contestants are following the set guidelines.

Contestants and their campaigns are blocking roads without any regard for the public. Campaign songs are being played loudly everywhere, especially during Maghrib and Isha times. I ask the ECP to keep a check and balance and tell candidates to at least respect the azaan.
