SHANGLA: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz provincial president Amir Muqam has claimed that his party would form the next government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He made this claim while addressing public meetings in Bisham, Batkot, Shang and Dandai Maira here on Wednesday.

He said that his party would initiate special industrial zone under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project, which would bring prosperity to the area.

“We will complete the Khwazakhela-Bisham Expressway in two years after coming into power, which would prove a game changer for Shangla,” he claimed and added that the PML-N leadership always stood by the people in difficult times, particularly during natural disasters.

Mr Muqam claimed that the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government did nothing for the people’s welfare during its five-year tenure.

He said that if he became the chief minister he would not disappoint the people of Shangla and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said that the people would reject those politicians who appeared only during elections. He asked his rivals to brief the people about their performance instead of hurling abuses at others.

The PML-N leader urged the people to vote for his party on July 25 if they wanted to see development in the province. Party’s candidate for PK-23 Rashad Khan also spoke at the meetings.
