The Peshawar administration has announced that it will temporarily provide licences for restricted bore weapons to election candidates, while also providing them with security guards, DawnNewsTV.

The decision was taken in a high-level meeting chaired by commissioner Peshawar. Security guards provided to election candidates will remain with them till July 28.

The meeting also decided that all candidates will have to inform the administration about any corner meetings or public meeting 24 hours prior to the event.

According to DawnNewsTV It was also decided that the location for all public meetings will be set by the district administration.
