KARACHI: Former Test cricketer and chief selector Iqbal Qasim has been reappointed as head of the National Bank sports division.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Iqbal said: “NBP has always served sports and sportsmen and I am proud to rejoin them with an aim to do my best for the department.

I am thankful to NBP president Saeed Ahmed for once again giving me the opportunity to serve sports and Inshallah I will do my best to help the department achieve excellence in every way.”

NBP’s Arshad Hussain, Azmatullah Khan, Anwar Farooqi and others welcomed the former spinner on his return to the sports department.
