JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that people will reject candidates backed by secular forces on July 25 and will not let anyone promote western culture in the country. (Yes, he lives in Pakistan.)

Addressing an election rally in Tajori on Monday, he said that the political system of the country had been dominated by secular forces for the last 70 years (...). "The religious parties will not let secular forces implement the agenda of western masters,” he added.

It's strange that Fazlur feels this way, considering the steady rate at which religious freedom is shrinking in the country.
