PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company has announced that electricity supply will remain suspended from 5 to 10 hours in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to maintenance work on the transmission lines and installation of poles on Wednesday (July 11).

In a statement on Monday, the Pesco said due to installation of power pylons in limits of Hayatabad, Jamrud, Peshawar University, the power supply would remain suspended from 6am to 12pm.

The supply will also remain suspended from 7am to 1pm in Mardan, resultantly consumers of Baghe Iram, Charsadda Road, City 2, Rural 1, Nisatta Road, Gujar Garhi, Old, Duran Abad, Dang Baba, Bank Road, Gaju Khan, Eidgah, Bala Garhi, Zando, Garhi Kapoora, Saleem Khan, Sheikh Maltoon, Rashakai, Industrial Old, Industrial New, Bughdada New, MMC, Ahmad Abad, New Toru and Saleem Khan will face inconvenience.

The consumers of Shahdand, Babini (Col Jawad), Tawas, Malakand Road, MES (Aziz Bhatti), Zando, Par Hoti, Dooranabad, New Bughdada and Shankar will also suffer for the same hours on the same day.

The consumers of Jehangir Abad, Narai Wala, Takht Bhai, Rehman Cotton Mills, Old Takkar, Saleem Khan, Umer Abad, Katlang, Badraga, Lund Khwar Old, Hari Chand 1, 2, Sher Garh Old, Lund Khwar New, Badraga Old, Badaraga, Old Ghazi Baba and New Ghazi Baba, Kalu Khan, Ismaila, Yar Hussain Old, SBG, KSK Cadet College, Bakhshali, Sawal Dher, Naro and Mosa Khat will also face inconvenience for the same hours. Similarly, the consumers of Utmanzai, Sheikh Abad, Gulabad and Behlola will also suffer.

In Tarbela, the consumers of Maini, Yousafzai, Village 1,2; in Swat the consumers of Mingora 1,2,3,4, Gulkadra, Takhta Band, Sanger, Bandai, Haji Baba, Bara Bandai, Saidu Baba, Sinor, Qambar, Marghuzar, Kabal 1,2,3,4, Malam Jaba, Barikot; in Timergara consumers of Old, Timergara New, Maidan, Lal Qilla, Toormang 2, Akakhel, New Mayar, Dush Khel, Qazafe, Gar Shamozai, Ghazi Baba, Warsak , Samarbagh and Tormang 1 will face inconvenience for the same period of time on Wednesday.

However, the consumers of Akakhel and Tormang 2 will suffer from 6am to 4pm. In DI Khan, the consumers of 11KV Draban, Darazinda, Gand Umer Khan, Kulachi, Hathla and Maddi will suffer from 9am to 2pm.
