15-day theatre workshop for children starts

LAHORE: A 15-day theatre workshop for children began at Alhamra, The Mall on Monday.

The workshop has been organsied for children aged between eight and 17 years and will continue till July 23.

Around 50 students from various educational institutions participated in the workshop conducted by various artistes.

Lahore Arts Council Executive Director retired Captain Atta Muhammad Khan while inaugurating the workshop said it had been organised as a summer vacation activity where children could participate for free.

On the occasion, Alhamra Academy of Performing Arts students also rendered singing and dancing performances. The workshop participants also exhibited their skills through acting and learnt about theatre performance.
