MANDI BAHAUDDIN, June 1: A youth axed to death his father, step-mother and two sisters over the second marriage by his guardian at Mauza Kattowal Dakhli on Tuesday night. Reports said Faiz Ahmad married Shahnaz Begum, who was the widow of his brother, a few years ago at Mohallah Shamsabad, Kattowal. His son Azmatullah, 29, developed differences with him over the second marriage issue.

Azmatullah exchanged harsh words with his father and in a rush of blood axed his father, step-mother and step-sisters — Shaista Faiz, 2, and Saadia Faiz, an infant. They died instantly.

Khutiala Shakhan police arrested Azmatullah and started investigation.

Police said the culprit was accompanied by his real mother Irshad Bibi and sister Nasim Bibi.
