KARACHI: Sindh Sports Minister Dr Junaid Ali Shah has said that every stakeholder in country’s sports will have to contribute for the revival of sports to regain Pakistan’s lost glory in the international arena.

“We need to ignore our differences and make mutual efforts for the betterment of sports in the country. We also need to give special attention to Olympic sports which are recognized internationally,” Junaid said during celebration of World Olympic Day.

He praised the Softball Federation of Pakistan (SFP) and National Softball Academy for hosting World Olympic Day celebrations here at KPI Ground. He further said that he would help the academy to send its coaches abroad so that they could get world-class training and return to coach our players in an effective manner.

Later, a festival softball match was also played between women’s teams of Karachi Green and Karachi Blue which the former won 14-10.
